Who We Are

Jurado was founded in 1999 specializing in the manufacturing of hydro-pneumatic equipment for joining sheet metal using an original and patented method known as clinching. Jurado team has decades of experience in this sector and our company supplies equipment to companies of all sizes specializing in sheet metalworking. All our products offer a wide range of possibilities of use and the applications include household appliances, metal furniture, ventilation systems, the automotive industry, and industrial ovens for painting. The range of use of our technology is due to the flexibility of our machines, which are applicable in the varying contexts where there is a need to join metal sheets. Our clinching machines are light, easy to handle, economical, and extremely efficient. Our technology represents one of the latest developments in the field of sheet metalworking. Our dynamic technical staff is constantly engaged in the study of new machines, in the improvement of our products, and in the design of specific equipment upon customer request.

Agreement between  Jurado Clinching Tools and University of Aquila

Jurado has established  collaboration with the University if Aquila, Department of Industrial and Information Engineering and Economics (DIIIE) named “Theoretical studies and development of experimental methods for the analysis and improvement of the joining process by means of clinching”

This new partnership and research is related to the improvement and perfection of the clinching process. Jurado will set up scholarships for the university, visits, and internships for students.

The University of Aquila by Prof. Antoniomaria Di Ilio, professor of Mechanical Technology and Management of the Technological Processes, will share their knowledge of this technology by using Jurado tools for research at the University while working on their thesis.

For further information we invite you to read the articles written by prof. Di Ilio in collaboration with prof. Lambiase, published in scientific journals:
