Jurado clinching machines are simple to use and easily integrate into production processes. Only compressed air at pressures between 2 and 7 bar is required. The clinching tools are available as both static (workbench) or mobile, and they are easy to automate. The clinching process requires neither electricity nor special cooling systems normally used for spot welding. The clinching process does not involve excessive heat. Our technology is environmentally friendly, does not consume a large amount of electricity, or produce fumes and slag. Our machines are safe because there is no spark or flame produced during the clinching process. Ultimately we have pioneered a technique that is superior to other sheet metal joining methods.

  • It does not require additional materials or other elements (e.g. rivets, screws or other materials) the joint is maintained by the mechanical elasticity of the metal sheets.
  • There is no waste material, which increases profit margin.
  • The power needed to activate the pneumatic and hydraulic supply of the machines is in the order of 1 kW (low energy consumption).
  • The machines are fast and each point can be created with a cycle time in the order of 1 sec.
  • Clinching can be performed both manually or automated, easily integration into existing production lines.
  • The machines are very handy.
  • No sheet metal preparation is required.
  • Quality control of the assembly is carried out quickly with straightforward tools.
  • Different material types can be joined.
  • Pre-painted or plastic coated materials can be used.
  • It does not damage the coating.
  • The point is more aesthetically pleasing than traditional methods
  • Aluminum sheets can be used.
  • The joint is resistant to corrosion.
  • The machines are efficient, resulting in leaner production lines.
  • The tools have a long lifetime.
  • The maintenance costs are very low.
  • No spark or fume is produced when joining.
  • It is compatible with adhesives used between the plates.
  • The initial investment has a short recovery time.
